What this site does
Grade and GPA Calc covers seven specific tools that students need most.
- The GPA Calculator handles semester and cumulative GPA in one place. Enter courses, grades, and credit hours. Get your exact GPA in seconds.
- The Weighted GPA Calculator applies the standard AP, IB, and Honors bonus points used by most U.S. high schools on the 5.0 scale.
- The Grade Calculator works backward from your syllabus. Enter grading categories, weights, and scores to see your current course grade in real time.
- The Final Grade Calculator tells you exactly what score you need on your final to hit your target course grade.
- The College GPA Calculator tracks your cumulative GPA across your full college career — for Dean's List, graduate school, and scholarship planning.
- The High School GPA Calculator gives you the unweighted 4.0 GPA used for college applications, NCAA eligibility, and scholarship forms.
- The GPA Scale is a quick reference for every letter grade with its 4.0 value, percentage range, and weighted equivalent.
- The Raise My GPA Calculator shows the math behind GPA recovery — how many credits at what grade level you need to hit your goal.
Why we built this
GPA calculators are everywhere. Most are hard to use on a phone, cluttered with confusing inputs, or buried under ads before you can see your result. Grade and GPA Calc is built mobile-first. Buttons are large enough to tap. Dropdowns open easily. Results appear above the fold.
Who uses this site
High school students check their standing for college applications. College students model finals scenarios and Dean's List eligibility. Transfer students model how new semester grades blend with their previous record. Student athletes track NCAA eligibility (2.3 GPA for Division I, 2.2 for Division II). Parents and advisors use the benchmarks to help students set realistic targets.
Our commitment to accuracy
All calculations follow standard formulas used by accredited U.S. colleges and universities. Grade point values (A = 4.0, B = 3.0, C = 2.0, D = 1.0, F = 0.0) and plus/minus adjustments (+0.3 / -0.3) are consistent with the practices of the College Board, the NCAA, and most U.S. institutional registrars. Weighted GPA bonus points (Honors +0.5, AP/IB +1.0) reflect the standard system used by the majority of U.S. high schools. Always verify final GPA with your school's official registrar.
